We don't journal as we ought, although we have good intentions! We have special things that we want to remember jotted down on scratch paper here and there, such as how we met and our dating-engaged-married timeline, trips we have taken, our moves, and all about the wonderful night that would change all nights going forth: A's birth. I hope this becomes our new scratch sheet of paper so to speak, a place to record milestones, special events and even the simplest notes from everyday.
I am a wife, mother, nurse, sister, daughter and friend. I love all of my jobs, I enjoy seeing new places, meeting new people, experiencing new things but I am also fond of my everyday life and my big family that is ever-growing. I have always wanted to blog but have been afraid to because I do not like to write, use correct grammar or punctuation and if it wasn't for spell check, at least three words in this sentence would be spelled wrong! But I am putting all fear aside and starting this journal to hopefully improve on those things and have a collection of sweet memories to look back on. I am also counting on Husband to contribute! He enjoys writing and he has a gift for remembering small details and dates. He also LOVES to plan and travel, such as: what church meetings we will attend, big vacations, mini-vacations, trips home to visit family and he is very good at it. He is a planner, another way he completes me.
We have a sweet, baby boy, A. He is 4 months and 2 weeks old today. Of course it seems like he was just born yesterday but he also seems so old. We talk in our own language, he laughs at all my jokes and funny faces and we both are crazy about his dad. I am always blown away at how happy and healthy he is and I pray that I don't ever take that for granted. God is so good and we are extremely blessed.
